Our Business Philosophy

 

Prairie Steppe Foods was founded based on the belief that Saskatchewan is uniquely poised as a global food producer.


The co-owners understand the challenges associated with getting Saskatchewan commodities into 

the international market, and simplify the process for local producers and international buyers.


The co-owners still love farming together, and continue to do so on the family homestead.

Gord Enns

Gord is the President of Prairie Steppe Foods, and father to Thomas and Luke.


Gord brings a unique set of skills to the table.  He has worked as an agrologist in Saskatchewan for many years, and works in food and agriculture policy in the non-profit sector both internationally and in Canada.


Gord enjoys ballroom dancing with his wife Lynne, going on international adventures and planting trees on the family farm.

Luke Driedger Enns

 

Luke works at a biotech company in Saskatoon. 


He completed his Commerce degree at the University of Saskatchewan.


Luke enjoys cross country skiing, running and spending time with his partner Marina.

Thomas Enns

Thomas practices law in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan with a focus on legal issues in the agricultural sector. 


Thomas received a BA in Winnipeg, MB at Canadian Mennonite University, and completed his Juris Doctor at the University of Saskatchewan. 


He is actively involved in the Saskatoon cycling community, loves craft beer and coffee, and has a wonderful partner Michelle, a cat named Monroe and a dog named Marlowe.
